Terms of Service

Effective August 10, 2026

1. Who we are

GCF Data (“the Service”) is operated by GCF Data LLC (“we”, “us”). The Service is available at gcfdata.com. You can reach us through the contact page.

2. What the Service does

GCF Data aggregates and normalises publicly available United States federal procurement information — agency procurement forecasts, SAM.gov contract opportunity notices, contract awards, SBIR/STTR topics, grant notices, and state department-of-transportation improvement programs — and provides search, alerting, matching and analysis over that data.

3. The data, and what we do not promise

All source data originates from government publishers. We do not warrant that it is complete, current or accurate. Government sources are themselves frequently incomplete, delayed or inconsistent: publishers change formats without notice, extracts are occasionally published empty, and records are revised or withdrawn after the fact. We correct what we detect, but you should verify anything material against the official source before relying on it.

Nothing in the Service is legal, contracting, bid/no-bid or investment advice. Some pages present machine-generated summaries; these are derived from records in the database and may still contain errors. Decisions you make using the Service are yours.

Inclusion of a grant or opportunity does not imply endorsement by any government agency, and no agency endorses or is affiliated with GCF Data.

4. Accounts and licences

You need an account to use member features. You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. Accounts are per named individual. A single account may not be shared between people; if you need multiple users, buy additional licences. We use automated signals to detect shared accounts and may contact you or suspend access where sharing appears to be occurring.

You must give accurate registration details and keep them current.

5. Fees, billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe. Current pricing is shown on the pricing page; the price shown at checkout is the price that applies. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

You may cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; access continues until then. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days notice. Taxes, where applicable, are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the Service for your own business purposes, including internal analysis and preparing your own bids and proposals. You may not: resell, redistribute or republish substantial portions of the data as a competing product or dataset; scrape or bulk-extract beyond the documented export and API features; circumvent access controls, rate limits or licence counts; or use the Service to build a substantially similar service.

Exports and API access are provided for your own use. Reasonable internal sharing of individual records with colleagues or teaming partners is fine; systematic redistribution is not.

7. API and MCP access

Where programmatic access is enabled for your account, it is subject to these Terms and to any rate limits we set. Keys are personal to your account and must not be shared. We may revoke a key that is being used abusively.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the Service running and its data fresh, but we do not offer a uptime guarantee or service-level agreement. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, or because an upstream government source is unavailable.

9. Your content

You keep ownership of anything you upload, such as a capability statement or company profile. You grant us the limited right to process it in order to operate the Service for you — for example to extract your NAICS codes and match you to opportunities. We do not sell your uploads and we do not use them to train third-party models.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, that is being shared contrary to section 4, or where required by law. If we terminate without cause, we will refund the unused portion of a prepaid term.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”, and our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost contracts, missed deadlines, or decisions made in reliance on the data.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will notify account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
